The variety is mid-season and is characterized by vigorous growth with red vines and a cylindrical cone shape. The plant possesses good drought tolerance and moderate resistance to downy mildew and powdery mildew. Yield is from 1.6 to 2.5 tons per hectare.
Alpha-acid content is in the range of 5–8%, beta-acids 4–8%, essential oils 0.7–2.0 ml/100 g. The aromatic profile includes lemongrass, black tea, lavender, apricot, and banana. The hop is intended for late and dry hopping of beer, including lagers, pilsners, and ales.
