The variety has a long tradition of cultivation in the area of the town of Nowy Tomyśl. The plant has a cylindrical habit and green bine. Cones are medium-sized, oval-shaped, tightly closed, and evenly distributed over the plant.

The variety is classified as an aroma hop and is distinguished by notes of earth, flowers, and herbs, sometimes with a faint citrus undertone. Alpha-acid content varies from 2.5% to 6.7%. The plant is well adapted to the soil and climatic conditions of western Greater Poland.
