The variety is intended for use as a rootstock in citrus cultivation. Its main task is to ensure agronomic compatibility, increase the productivity of grafted trees, and improve the quality characteristics of the fruits.

The plant possesses high resistance to a complex of adverse soil factors, including salinity, comparable to the indicators of Cleopatra mandarin, and excessive calcium content. The variety also demonstrates resistance to citrus tristeza virus and nematode infestation.
