This hybrid is the result of crossing Troyer citrange and common mandarin. Its key characteristic is the ability to reduce the crown volume of grafted trees by approximately 50%, which allows for increased planting density in citrus orchards.

The rootstock exhibits resistance or tolerance to citrus tristeza virus and soil salinity. The use of this rootstock contributes to an increase in the juice content of the fruit, an increase in sugar levels, and a reduction in peel thickness.
