The object belongs to a series of rootstocks bred as a result of interspecific hybridization of Cleopatra mandarin and Poncirus trifoliata. The main purpose of this rootstock is to create a root system for citrus crops with increased resistance to Citrus tristeza virus, soil salinity, lime-induced chlorosis, and Phytophthora fungal diseases.

This number is an experimental rootstock and is not intended for cultivation as a fruit-bearing variety. Detailed morphometric characteristics of growth vigor and the effect on fruit quality of the specific V41 number require clarification in specialized agronomic literature, as available information is limited to the use of the rootstock in breeding trials.
