Variety description

10 August 2026

The rootstock is semi-dwarfing with a growth vigor intermediate between GiSelA® 5 and GiSelA® 6. It stimulates early onset of fruit bearing in grafted varieties, providing the first harvest as early as the second year.

The plant possesses good resistance to PDV and PNRSV viruses, demonstrates high anchorage, and does not produce root suckers. Trees on this rootstock form a spreading crown with wide branch attachment angles.

The rootstock is compatible with various sweet cherry varieties and is capable of ensuring yield on soils unsuitable for other dwarfing rootstocks. It requires proper agronomic management, including pruning and crop load regulation, to prevent fruit size reduction.
