The rootstock is medium-vigorous (semi-dwarf); in terms of growth vigor, it occupies an intermediate position between GiSelA® 5 and GiSelA® 17, representing approximately 60–70% of the growth vigor of the F12/1 rootstock. In the in vitro propagation phase, it may exhibit vigorous growth, which decreases with the onset of active fruiting.
It is characterized by moderate fruitfulness, which helps to avoid overloading trees with crops and contributes to maintaining fruit quality. It is recommended as a stable alternative to the GiSelA® 6 rootstock, is suitable for various soil types and for use in windy locations, although it may require the installation of a support system.
