The variety has lacecap-type inflorescences, in which sterile flowers are predominantly white, while fertile ones can take on a blue or pink hue. A distinctive feature is the decorative variegated foliage with white spots, streaks, and stripes. Shoots with completely green leaves are prone to reversion and are subject to removal.
The plant is a large shrub with a height of up to 1.8–2.0 meters and a diameter of up to 2 meters. The flowering period occurs from July to September or November. The variety is adapted to USDA zones 6a–9b, possesses winter hardiness down to -25 °C, and resistance to soil salinity, which allows it to be used in coastal areas.
