The plant has deciduous ovoid leaves with serrated edges. Flowering is prolonged, covering the period from June to September. The shade of the flowers changes depending on the soil acidity and substrate composition.

The variety is intended for solitary and group plantings and is suitable for container cultivation. It prefers partial shade and humus-rich soils and is demanding regarding watering regimes. In regions with severe winters, it requires protection of flower buds, despite its general winter hardiness.
