Variety description

The variety is a deciduous shrub with a spreading crown shape, reaching a height of 0.9 to 1.5 meters. A distinctive feature is the flat inflorescences with sterile flowers that have a characteristic double star shape. The flower color is predominantly white, sometimes with a bluish tint in the center.

The plant's flowering is prolonged, lasting from July to October, and the variety is capable of repeat flowering. The plant prefers partial shade and humus-rich, moist, and drained soils with an acidic reaction in the pH range of 5–6. Winter hardiness is estimated as moderate; it withstands temperature drops down to -12°C…-15°C and requires cover in cold regions. It is used as a solitaire, in group plantings, and in container gardening.
