Variety description

Inflorescences are of the lacecap type. Leaves are ovate, dark green, with a serrated edge. The variety is a mutant of Hydrangea macrophylla f. normalis.

Flowering is prolonged, from early summer to autumn. Flower color can vary from white to pale pink or bluish depending on soil acidity and aluminum content.

The shrub reaches 0.9–1.5 m in height and width. The variety prefers partial shade; winter hardiness is up to -12...-24°C depending on conditions. Suitable for use as a solitary plant, in group plantings, and for container cultivation.
