Inflorescences have a flat or spherical-flattened shape. Flower color varies from blue to pink and lilac tones depending on soil acidity and the presence of aluminum. On acidic soils, blue and light blue shades dominate.

The shrub is characterized by an upright and spreading habit. Leaves are ovate, glossy, with a serrated edge. The flowering period occurs from July to August or September. The variety has a USDA zone 6 winter hardiness and requires covering in temperate climates.
