Variety description

The shrub is characterized by erect branches, which may have purple speckling, and oval dark green leaves up to 20 cm long. Flat corymbose inflorescences consist of small fertile flowers in the center and large sterile ones along the edges.

The flower color varies from pale lilac and pink to blue depending on soil composition. The plant prefers partial shade and rich, moist, drained soils. The variety has good winter hardiness and blooms in the period from July to October.
