Masja is a compact multi-stemmed deciduous shrub with upright shoots, reaching a height of 60 to 150 cm. The leaves are large, glossy, bright green, and ovate with serrated edges.

The inflorescences are spherical in shape with a diameter of 15–30 cm. Flowering is abundant and prolonged, covering the period from the beginning of summer to autumn. The variety belongs to the 6th climatic zone of winter hardiness and requires mandatory winter covering, as well as protection from late spring frosts.

The plant is suitable for solitary and group plantings, creating hedges, and growing in containers; it tolerates urban conditions well and is resistant to diseases and pests.
