Variety description

The plant forms large, rounded inflorescences consisting mainly of sterile flowers with finely serrated edges. Foliage is dark green, leathery, and broadly oval in shape with a pointed tip. Shrub height varies from 1.4 to 2 meters.

Petal color depends on the acidity of the substrate: on acidic soils they turn blue or blue-violet, while on alkaline and neutral soils they turn pink. By autumn, the inflorescences acquire burgundy-red shades. The plant is used as an ornamental for open field and container cultivation.

The variety is considered late-maturing and is characterized by sturdy stems. It withstands temperature drops down to -25 °C and adapts to various growing conditions.
