The variety forms corymb-type inflorescences 15–20 cm in diameter. Individual flowers reach 3.5–4 cm in diameter. The petal color is solid, violet or brownish-red, and depends on the soil pH level.

The plant has large dark green leaves with pointed, serrated edges. Cut stems can grow up to 80 cm. The hydrangea prefers moist, well-drained soils with a pH from 4.5 to 7.5 and can grow in sun or partial shade.

The variety is intended for cutting and use in floral arrangements, as it has the ability to remain fresh in water for a long time.
