The shrub is characterized by a bushy shape and a width comparable to its height. The leaves are ovate with a serrated margin and are medium-green in color. Flowering is prolonged, covering the period from June–July to September–October.

The color of the inflorescences varies from blue and violet shades in acidic soils to pink and lilac-pink in neutral and alkaline soils. The plant is moisture-loving, prefers partial shade, and withstands temperatures down to -12 °C, requiring cover in temperate climates.

The variety is used in landscape design as a solitaire, an element of hedges or borders, and is also suitable for growing in containers and for use in dried bouquets.
