Adult plants reach a height of 1 to 1.5 meters. The bush is dense and upright, possessing thick shoots that hold heavy inflorescences up to 20 cm in diameter. The foliage is deep green, often glossy.

Flower color depends on soil pH: on alkaline soils they turn pink, while on acidic soils they acquire a blue tint. During the flowering process, petals go through a progression from a delicate light green color to pink or blue, ending the season with greenish tones and a white border.

The variety possesses winter hardiness of USDA zone 6, withstanding frosts down to -23°C, however, in the middle latitudes, covering is required. The plant is suitable for solitary and group plantings, container cultivation, and use in floristry, as the inflorescences hold up well in cut form.
