Variety description

The shrub has a rounded crown and reaches a height of 1.4 to 4 m with a width of 2–3 m. The shoots are strong and dark cherry. The leaves are dark green, elliptical or lanceolate, 10–12 cm long.

The inflorescences are conical, 30–65 cm long, consisting of large sterile and fertile flowers arranged loosely, which creates a lace effect. Flowering is abundant and lasts from July to September.

The variety has high winter hardiness (down to –30°C, USDA zone 4) and resistance to diseases and pests. The plant requires annual spring pruning and prefers sunny or semi-shaded locations with humus-rich soils.
