The variety is an upright shrub 1.3–1.5 m in height with a crown diameter of 1.0–1.2 m. Shoots are rigid, bright red in color, foliage is emerald green. Flowering begins in late May or early June.
Conical inflorescences 10–15 cm long change color from cream-white through pink to bright red over 2–3 weeks. The color is maintained until July–August. The plant possesses high frost resistance (down to -30°C).
The variety prefers acidic or slightly acidic drained soils, grows well in sun and partial shade. Light or sanitary spring pruning is recommended. Suitable for container cultivation and hedges.
