The variety is an ultra-compact shrub 0.5–0.8 m high and 0.6–0.8 m wide. The plant has stiff reddish-tinted shoots that hold large inflorescences well and do not lodge. Leaves are green, lanceolate.
Flowering starts early, in late May — June, and continues until September. Inflorescence color changes: from aquamarine-greenish to white, then to powdery-pink, and by the end of the season to red-brown. The variety is winter hardy (zone 5b) and disease resistant.
The plant is suitable for growing in containers, on balconies, terraces, as well as for borders and group plantings. Prefers sunny or semi-shaded locations, moist well-drained soils and requires annual spring pruning.
