The shrub reaches a height of 1.7 to 3.0 meters and has a fan-shaped or rounded crown. Shoots are strong, brown in color; leaves are dark green, rough, with a serrated edge.

Inflorescences are 30–40 cm long and have a creamy-white color when blooming, which may acquire a pinkish tint by autumn. The flowering period lasts from July to September–October.

The variety possesses winter hardiness, withstanding frosts down to -25...-32°C. It prefers fertile, slightly acidic, well-drained soils and develops well in full sun and partial shade.
