The shrub forms a spreading crown 1.5–1.8 meters wide with strong shoots. The leaves are ovate with a pointed tip and serrated edge. The inflorescences are loose panicles 15–30 cm long, containing large sterile flowers with four widely spaced sepals.
The plant belongs to late-blooming varieties: flowering lasts from July or August until October. The flower color is predominantly snow-white; by autumn, pinkish shades may appear. The variety possesses frost resistance down to -30...-34 °C (USDA zones 3–4) and high disease resistance.
