Variety description

The plant reaches 1.5–2 meters in height and has a broadly spreading crown shape. The shoots are powerful, brown in color, and may acquire a reddish hue by autumn. The leaves are bright green, large, oval or egg-shaped with finely serrated margins.

The inflorescences are 25–30 cm long and consist of fertile and sterile flowers. The flowering period lasts from June–July to September–October. The shrub prefers sunny or semi-shaded areas with fertile, drained soil and is responsive to pruning and regular watering.

The variety has winter hardiness down to -20°C...-28°C and is resistant to major diseases and pests. It is used for solitary and group plantings, creating hedges, and container cultivation.
