The shrub is characterized by a spreading form and rigid, reddish-burgundy shoots capable of supporting heavy inflorescences without staking. An adult plant reaches 1.5–2 m in height and width with an annual growth rate of 25–35 cm. Dark green, elliptical leaves with serrated edges turn purple in the autumn.
The cone-shaped panicles reach a length of 30–35 cm. During the flowering period from July to October, the flowers gradually change color from white-green to deep pink and purple-red tones; due to the continuous growth of the inflorescences, the tips may remain white, creating a two-tone effect.
The variety has high frost resistance (down to −40 °C) and adapts to various soil types. The plant prefers sunny areas or partial shade and is used in landscape design for creating hedges, group plantings, and container cultivation; it is also suitable for cutting.
