Variety description

The plant is a compact shrub with a height and width of about 1.2–1.5 m. Young leaves have a pronounced burgundy-red hue, which changes to dark green over time. The leaf blade has a serrated margin.

Flowering occurs from July to September-October. The inflorescences are flat: with small fertile flowers in the center and larger sterile flowers on the edges, which are colored white with a pink or reddish margin (picotee). The buds have a ruby hue.

The variety prefers partial shade and moist, fertile, well-drained soils. The plant is used in landscape design for borders, mass plantings, and container gardening.
