The variety is a deciduous shrub. The main feature is the color of the leaves: from golden-yellow to a yellow-green shade, which is maintained throughout the entire vegetation period. Young leaves have a lighter color, gradually turning green as they develop.
Flowers are collected in flat corymbose inflorescences. The shade of the flowers changes depending on the soil pH level and the availability of aluminum, with the possibility of pink flowering noted.
