An adult shrub reaches a height of 1.2 to 1.4 meters. The plant is distinguished by graceful stems, sometimes with a reddish hue, and narrow dark green leaves, which may acquire reddish tones in the autumn. The inflorescences are flat, "lacecap" type.
The color of the flowers varies from pink to blue depending on soil acidity and aluminum content. Flowering continues from late May to July. The variety withstands temperature drops down to -18 °C, prefers partial shade or shade, as well as moist, humus-rich soils.
