Shrub is upright, dense, reaching a height and width of 0.9 to 1.5 m. Leaves are ovate with serrated edges, bright green in summer and burgundy-red in autumn. Stems often have a dark burgundy tint.
Inflorescences are spherical or corymbose with a diameter of up to 12 cm. Flowering continues from July to September-October. The color of the inflorescences changes from pale green or cream to pink, crimson, and wine-red regardless of soil pH level.
The plant belongs to USDA hardiness zones 5–9, shoots are strong, resistant to lodging. The variety prefers acidic or slightly acidic soils and regular watering, can be used in single and group plantings or as a container crop.
