Inflorescences are pinkish-white, with sterile flowers located along the edges, which gradually turn pink, acquiring a carmine hue, and become dark red by autumn. The shrub is compact, reaching a height of up to 1.5 meters. Characteristic features are carmine stems, as well as red petioles and leaf veins.
The variety prefers partial shade, fertile moist drained soil, and has winter hardiness down to -18 °C. Suitable for cultivation in containers and open field, valued as one of the best varieties for drying inflorescences.
