The variety forms a compact bush 1–1.2 m high, reaching a maximum of 1.4 m. The foliage of young plants has a bronze or reddish tint, eventually becoming dark green. The inflorescences are of the lacecap type: large sterile flowers are located along the edges, and small fertile ones are in the center.
The color of the flowers varies from purple-red to pink with a pale center; on acidic soils, the acquisition of purple or blue tones is possible. The flowering period lasts from June to August–September. The variety is intended for container gardening and group plantings; it prefers partial shade and moist, humus-rich soils.
