The variety is a deciduous shrub with a compact growth habit, reaching a height of about 2 meters, sometimes up to 2.5 meters in 10 years. The leaves are large, heavily pubescent, and turn a yellow hue in the autumn period.

The inflorescences are of the lace-cap type and flat in shape, reaching 20–25 cm in diameter. A distinctive feature of the variety is the flower coloration: fertile flowers develop from pink buds and turn white, while sterile flowers are pure white in color. The flowering period lasts from June to August or September.

The plant is adapted to the winter hardiness of USDA zone 6b and possesses increased resistance to direct sunlight compared to other representatives of the species. The variety prefers sites protected from strong winds with moist soil.
