Variety description

The variety is a compact shrub 1–1.5 m in height and 60–100 cm in width. It has leathery dark green glossy leaves with wavy margins. In spring, the plant blooms with inconspicuous white flowers; black berries may appear in autumn.

The plant is characterized by resistance to diseases affecting boxwood and good winter hardiness. It prefers neutral or slightly acidic soils and does not tolerate excess lime. It tolerates shearing well and requires regular pruning to maintain crown shape. Suitable for container cultivation.
