The plant belongs to the Treasure Island series, created to combine the decorative qualities of the foliage and nutritional value. The variety is suitable for growing in containers and as a groundcover crop, capable of trailing or climbing a support, reaching a height of up to 1.5 meters.
The leaves have a palmate, lobed shape and a dark green color. The root tubers are characterized by purple skin and light flesh; both the root tubers and the leaves of the plant are edible. The vegetation period is approximately 5 months.
The crop is thermophilic, prefers full sun and well-drained soil. The plant is characterized by drought tolerance and is undemanding in care.
