The tree is characterized by high vigor and a terminal bearing habit. The medium-sized fruits are elongated in shape and characterized by a thick shell with good sealing. The kernel percentage is approximately 49–50%.
The variety is classified as mid-season. The plant has brittle wood and an increased susceptibility to bark canker, which requires pruning at a young age to prevent branch breakage. Historically, the variety has been used in commercial in-shell nut production and for processing.
