Variety description

The plant reaches a height of 3–4 meters with a width of up to 2 meters. Young shoots have a red tint, transitioning into glossy dark green foliage, which turns orange and wine-red in autumn. In mature specimens, the bark is smooth and peels off in thin flakes.
Flowering begins in July and continues until September; the inflorescences are dense panicles about 20 cm long. The variety is suitable for solitary plantings, hedges, or container cultivation. The plant requires a sunny location, sheltered from the wind, and well-drained soil; it tolerates frosts down to -15...-18 °C.
