Variety description

The plant is a deciduous shrub or small tree 4 to 5 meters in height and 2 to 3 meters in width with a vigorous growth rate. The foliage is matte green, and young shoots have a red tint. The bark is decorative, smooth, and capable of peeling in plates.
Flowers are of an intense purple color with golden-yellow stamens and are gathered in medium-sized inflorescences. Flowering begins early, in July–August, and is prolonged and abundant. The winter hardiness of mature specimens is estimated down to -15°C.
The variety is used in landscape design for group plantings, hedges, as a specimen plant, and also for container cultivation. The plant allows for training as a shrub or a standard tree.
