Variety description

The plant has an upright bushy form and reaches 3–4 meters in height and 2–3 meters in width after 10 years. Leaves are dark green; young shoots may have a reddish hue. Bark is smooth and decoratively exfoliates in plates.

Flowering begins in July and lasts until September-October; repeat flowering is possible. Flowers are gathered in dense, large panicles. The variety possesses resistance to powdery mildew and winter hardiness down to -15...-18°C. Heavy pruning at the end of winter is required for abundant flowering.
