The variety belongs to diploid forms of Italian ryegrass. In breeding practice, this variety is used as a reference standard when conducting scientific field trials.

The plant is intended for use in forage production for the purpose of obtaining green mass, hay or silage. In seed production, studies on the use of growth regulators were applied to optimize the productivity of the variety, the effectiveness of which depended on the weather conditions of the season.
