The variety is diploid and was bred based on Swiss ecotypes selected in marginal areas of eastern Switzerland. The plant is characterized by rapid development in the initial phase of vegetation and early spring growth.

The variety possesses resistance to snow mold and a medium tendency to lodging. Due to a low tendency to form inflorescences in the aftermath following cutting, it allows for high-quality forage to be obtained throughout the entire vegetation period.

The sward regrows quickly after mowing, forming dense ground cover that contributes to weed suppression. The variety is intended for the intensive production of silage, hay, and green mass.
