The variety is tetraploid, which provides it with larger seeds and vigorous growth compared to diploid forms. Tetraploidy also serves as a barrier to cross-pollination with diploid plants.

When sowing this variety, an increase in the seeding rate by approximately 1.5 times compared to diploid varieties is required due to the increased seed size.
