Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety belongs to the group of tetraploid plants. It is characterized by rapid growth, medium heading time, and medium plant height at the full development stage. It possesses medium resistance to lodging, rust, and powdery mildew, and is characterized by good winter hardiness with a medium susceptibility to winterkill.

The plant is valued for its high nutritional value, structure, and palatability, suitable for feeding cattle. It provides stable dry matter yield; under optimal conditions, it is possible to obtain up to 6 cuts per year. The main purpose is the production of silage, haylage, grazing, and green manuring for improving soil fertility.

The variety differs from perennial ryegrass by its taller growth, increased dry matter yield, and shorter longevity.
