The variety is tetraploid and is an annual forage grass. It is characterized by good autumn growth rates and rapid development after sowing.

The plant is used for the production of green mass and hay. The variety shows high dry matter yield under three-cut management per season and is often used in agronomic research to evaluate the efficiency of fertilizer use.
