The variety is a perennial semi-erect loose-bunch grass belonging to the tetraploid type. It is characterized by late maturity.

The plant is used in haymaking and pasture management, as well as in various grass mixtures, including clover-grass mixtures. The variety possesses resistance to snow mold at the level of modern analogs.
