The tree is vigorous, reaching 5–8 meters, with a wide spreading crown of irregular shape. The variety enters fruiting 7–8 years after planting and is characterized by biennial bearing. The plant is partially self-fertile and sensitive to excessive soil moisture.
The fruits are oblate or oval-conical in shape with ribbing and have an average weight of 120–150 g. The fruit color changes from light green at harvest to straw-yellow upon ripening. The light yellow flesh is characterized by juiciness, graininess, a sweet-sour taste, and a strong aroma.
