The tree is vigorous, reaching a height of up to 5 meters, with a crown that forms into a rounded or broadly rounded shape with age, featuring strong branches. The variety type is characterized by high winter hardiness, the ability to withstand harsh climatic conditions, and widespread use as rootstock in horticulture.

The fruits are of medium or large size, round or ribbed in shape, and acquire a light yellow color upon full ripening, sometimes with a slight blush. The flesh is white, juicy, and has a characteristic tartness. The variety belongs to the early-winter or autumn-winter groups, with ripening times depending on the region.

The fruits are versatile in use: they are consumed fresh and are the benchmark raw material for soaking, making pastila, marmalade, jelly, jam, juices, and fillings for baked goods.
