The variety is a winter type. Fruit harvesting in Michurinsk conditions is carried out in mid-September, ripening in storage occurs by mid-November, fruits can be stored until February, and in northern regions until April. The variety is distinguished by high, almost annual yield and early entry into the fruiting period at the age of 4–6 years, sometimes at the 2–3rd year.

Trees possess good winter hardiness, but are characterized by insufficient resistance to diseases: in wet years, fruits and the crown are significantly affected by scab. Fruits have a sweet-sour taste of medium quality. The chemical composition is characterized by a sum of sugars of 9.9–10.1%, acidity of 0.78–0.97%, and pectin content of 0.58%.
