The variety was obtained by crossing Belorusskoe malinovoe with a hybrid of McIntosh and Babushkino. The trees are compact, with a medium height of up to 3 meters, and begin to bear fruit in the 2–4th year. The variety is characterized by high and regular yield.

The fruits are large, weighing 120–250 g, round-conical in shape with a greenish-yellow color and a solid dark brown or raspberry-burgundy blush, covered with a waxy bloom. The flesh is creamy, firm and juicy, with a sweet and sour taste. Harvest maturity occurs at the end of September, consumer maturity in November–December.

The variety is winter-hardy and resistant to a number of diseases, however, scab infection is possible. The fruits have high keeping quality, maintaining their marketable qualities for up to 4–6 months when stored in cool conditions.
