The tree is characterized by medium or strong vigor and the ability for good branching. The variety possesses high resistance to scab and powdery mildew, and also tolerates drought conditions well. Proper pruning for long fruit-bearing wood is required to maintain a regular yield.

The fruits ripen in early August, have a medium size, an intense yellow ground color, and a bright red overcolor. The yellow fine-grained flesh is characterized by juiciness and a fresh taste with a lemony tartness. The produce is intended for fresh consumption and processing.
