The tree is vigorous, has a spreading crown, and begins to bear fruit at a young age. The variety is self-incompatible. The parental pair for this variety were the varieties Forest and McIntosh.

The fruits are of medium size, flat-round or round-conical in shape with slight ribbing. The skin is firm, greenish-yellow with a red blush, stripes, and frequently occurring russet netting. The flesh is cream or greenish-white, fine-grained and juicy.

Harvesting takes place in mid-October. The fruits possess good keeping quality and can be stored in cold conditions for up to 3–5 months. The flavor qualities of the fruits can improve during the storage process.
